Meet Kevin Waters: General Manager & Head Coach of the Jacksonville Giants

Kevin will be a featured coach in the 2015 Global Basketball Summer League (GBSL). He will coach the Access Pass & Design Summer League Team. Kevin is a young rising dynamic coach that became the General Manager & Head Coach of the Jacksonville Giants in 2010-11, the team went on to finish the regular season (24-0). In the 2011-12, Kevin Waters led the Giants to the ABA National Championship and was named the ABA Coach of The Year. In 2012-13, he led his Giants to an amazing (32-1) record and won his second consecutive ABA Championship, while being named the ABA Coach of The Year for the second consecutive year. Kevin has experience coaching in the WBA, Murray State (NCAA) and at Kennesaw State where he won a NCAA DII National Championship as an Assistant Coach. He is one of the best kept secrets in the United States professional coaching fraternity. Kevin will use the GBSL Las Vegas event as a scouting platform to help the Jacksonville Giants build their roster and win the 2016 ABA Championship:

The Jacksonville Giants (ABA) is one of the best managed professional basketball franchises in the North America. The event features NBA developing referees, 40 minute regulation games, NBA rules & 24 second shot clock, scheduled practices, internet & televised games with play by play broadcasting and high-level pro competition. Access Design & Pass Summer League Team:


Players, agents and coaches that are interested in securing a spot on the Access Design & Pass Summer League team should contact the Global Basketball Summer League immediately. All participants are required to register on the GBSL site for consideration. If an applicant is selected they will be required to pay the GBSL registration fee. Only high-level prospects that played in the 2014-15 season at a NCAA Division 1 program, 2014-15 Small College All Americans or professional experienced players will be considered. There will be other professional teams evaluating talent at the GBSL combined with hundreds of other international scouts and agents attending the event.
